Lundhs is Norway’s leading exporter of natural stone, with a wide range of materials to choose from. Lundhs portfolio of natural stone are unique in beauty and colour, and the company is the world’s sole supplier of most of them.
Best known is the granite from the areas surrounding the city of Larvik, also called Larvikite. There are 7 different kinds of Larvikite, with Blue Pearl and Emerald Pearl as the most famous. Lundhs materials also include the marble from the northern part of Norway, called Lundhs Norwegian Rose, and Lundhs Antique from the western part of the country.
The company controls around 15 quarries and employ approximately 200 people. Lundhs is owned by the Lundh family and the Treschow family which continues quarrying traditions of more than 100 years and ensures stability and reliability for Lundhs customers.
Lundhs materials are exported all over the world, and has been used in a lot of well-known landmarks on the planet. Among them the worlds first seven star hotel, the Burj-Al-Arab in Dubai, the beautiful Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah mosque of Brunei and the summer palace of the Sultan of Oman.
